Some number of years ago I received the album "The Simpsons Sing the Blues" as a gift. While humorous and true to the show's characters, I never really thought of it as "good" music before. Well, that just changed.
The SDAs really let this music shine! The soundstage is wide and deep and the voices are well recorded - on some tracks you'd swear that you could reach out and grab Bart's spikey little head! It just struck me as a well done album all around - well balanced, well mixed, well recorded, etc. It's the kind of music you just want to crank up as loud as you can stand and sit in the sweet spot with a **** eating grin on your face!
