Anyone have any advice on a decent surge protector that can be bought at a BB/CC or similar store? This would be solely to protect the powered amps for my RT3000s and CS1000 speakers.

One thing I would look into is a whole house sacrificial surge protector. It trips the main breaker if there is a surge. I would use this in conjunction with a decent power strip surge suppressor.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Huge amplifiers will perform well with something like this:
