Super speakers

Has anyone had the opportunity to spend any significant time with any really high-end speaker system? One of the "problems" with this hobby is there always something "better" that costs more money.

I have a subscription to "The Absolute Sound" and "Stereophile" and it amazes me how many $20,000,and higher, speakers exist.

    Even if I was a millionaire I would never spend that kind of money on a set of speakers. Just doesn't make sence. I could see spending that sort of money on a complete system but never on one set of speakers. Just my thought, doesnt make it right or wrong I just dont understand why!
