I'm looking into an Acurus ACD-11 thats local. I won't be able to demo but the seller states it works fine or return for refund. What are your thoughts on this unit? It is selling for $175. Good Price?
The same guy has an Acurus DIA-100 int amp for sale for $250. Thoughts on this unit as well as the price.
Thanks,
Chuck

It's a good price on that CDP.
It's a great transport. There are some that feel it needs a good external DAC, due to being a little bass light. That can be improved by changing out the power supply diodes with Fast REcovery Diodes(FRED).
The display is a bit hard to see from accross the room.
Mine's currently in storage since I went to a server and
DAC combo. This is a link since my picture upload crapped out.

An audio pal had one running through Mit, Bryston BP-20, 4Bnrb, Soliloquy 6.5.
I listened to that gear many times and very much liked his system sound.
That was several years ago and audio memory is fleeting...that unit is long in the tooth.
However like sucks2beme said, I hear the air suspension system makes for a nice transport.
