A PR problem....

Looking at the crossover schematic for my -1C's (et. al.), there's an inductor between the "-" sides of the stereo and dimensional arrays. On either side of that inductor are two little boxes, labeled P and R. Can someone tell me what P and R mean?

Wait a minute, I think I'm having a revelation here, and my thought process is Perfectly Reasonable. If I solder the Passive Radiator there, it ought to turn one Perfect Revolution, then change to Pink and Red, and harden into Padouk Rosewood solid enough to Push Rivets, right? Something like that?

No, seriously....I don't get how only one interconnect wire can cause both speakers to radiate a signal that's 180 degrees out of phase with the opposite speaker to attempt to cancel crosstalk. I keep trying to play this out in my mind from the schematic, but it just ain't happening. Does someone have a layman's explanation for my limited electrical knowledge? I wish I had known a little more before doing the crossover upgrade, but what's done is done.
Thanks,
Geoff
