I'm a new member - just signed up today. I've never posted on a forum of any kind before but I have been reading some of the topics on your forum.

I've got some older Polk speakers I would like to post in the Classifieds but the rules say I must have 25 postings before I can sell anything. Hopefully someone will respond so I can get the required postings.

Well welcome to Club Polk. Posting useless post are frowned upon when trying to achieve selling status. Stick around. Give some insight why you would want to sell your vintage gear. What you are replacing it with, and what you are using for your present system. Good luck.
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Sorry for the useless post. As I said, I'm new to this forum stuff and didn't know how to get started.

I'm going to be at a disadvantage when discussing audio equipment. Everything I have was purchased in the early 90's on the recommendation of salesperson at an audio store. The amp, tape deck and cd player are all Denon. The speakers are Polk RTA 11t's. All of the equipment has served us well over the years. However, with our current living room we don't have room for the large speakers. I recently purchased some Klipsch bookshelf speakers and the Polk's are sitting in my basement. I would like to sell them to someone who would appreciate them. They are in excellent condition.

I am sure they are fine but until one becomes an established member here we just don't wheel and deal with them. If you need to sell them ASAP try Ebay. In the meantime, if you have any audio questions or contributions you are welcome to join in the fun.

Fair enough. I just thought this would be the easiest way to contact someone interested in Polk speakers.

To become a truly trusted member of this forum, everyone has had to tell their most embarrassing moment in life, with detail. We've found it to be a great ice breaker.

    Your turn.

As I am not much of an audiophile, I don't think I would have much to contribute to your forum. Also, my most embarassing moment would be rather tame by your standards - my life has been quite sheltered.

I was just thought this would be a good place to find someone who would appreciate my speakers. I will see if there is someone locally who would be interested.

    Adieu,
