Ya, kind of funny. It's too bad that I have had 0 problems with Vista though.

As have I..it runs great for me (other than being a little intrusive security-wise and the GUI being a little counter-intuitive). Just thought the video was funny. No earth robot is going to tell ME which button to press!!

Vista is a big headache. Everything runs faster in XP. I like the DX10 for eye candy, but the rest can take a dump. It has been consistent, slow, resource hog, and doesn't play well with many drivers, and programs. I have a dual boot, but run Vista because I have too. Other wise I would be running XP. Pros of vista is a very nice media center, and some eye candy.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

i had problems with Vista early on when i got a new laptop, but after about two weeks... it settled down. been running fine now for several weeks.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

I just woke up sleeping beauty with my hysterics. That was perfect.
Vista is not battery friendly. Cut performance by around 35% on my specific laptop. Countless others have had much worse than this. If you don't mind not using your laptop, as a laptop, no problem. I like to remain 'unplugged'-Ignorance is strength - -
ZERO issues with Vista here. I love it! Think back to all the bitching when XP came out.
I made sure my new laptop had 2gb of RAM and a nice video card. All is well!
JohnNo excuses! -
2 Gig here, Dual core, nVidia, 14" screen, 5400rpm, 5lb laptop. Battery time with Vista 1.8 hours with shadow and indexing turned off , VS. lightly stripped down XP was 2.5 hours. Vista is not mobile friendly.-Ignorance is strength -
