I need surround!!!!

I am building a 5.1 ht. So far I have a onkyo 605,pair of polk rti6 in front, polk csi3 center, and svs 25-31 pci sub. I need surround!! But the problem is the room that my ht is in is part of a open floor plan that is open into the kitchen to the rear and a over sized hallway on the left side if your facing the tv. I dont know if I should mount a pair of fxi3 or fxi5 on the side walls near the rear, or install 2 speakers in the ceiling. Also is there a big sound difference from the tc60i to the tc80i? The room including the kitchen is 15x28
