**** SOLD ****

For Sale: Denon DVD-2910, CONUS sales only, sorry.

PRICE REDUCED

General
I bought this unit from Crutchfield, about a year ago IIRC. I have never had any issues with it, it has worked perfectly from day 1. It has never had anything stacked on it, nor has it been phutzed with in any way. The cover has never been removed and we don't smoke in the house. This would also make a fantastic CD Player. DVD/DVD-A/SACD/CD all supported by this player.

Includes/Packaging
The unit will be shipped in it's original box/packaging, power cord/remote/manual included. It WILL NOT be double-boxed. UPDATE: I'll throw the SACD Pink Floyd DSOTM in the box as a sampler.

Condition
This unit is pristine, both electrically and physically. The front plastic display face is perfect--no "paper towel" scratches, etc. There are no dents, scratches, wear marks---NOTHING. It looks brand new. It was placed/connected once, and left alone. In the image attached, what appears to be scratches is my hand reflecting in the display--it's perfect, or your money back. If you're anal, this is the DVD for you. The photo below was taken this evening, Jan 8.

Terms
I reserve the right to refuse anyone I don't know well enough. Check or money order is fine. I work on the honor system---if you tell me you want it, I'll ship it out; I won't make you wait for your check to clear. If you send a bad check, I'll have George Grand break your thumbs.

If you want it, but are a little short on funds--talk to me. If your a trusted member, no problem we can work out a payment plan. I don't need the money right away.

I am a stand-up guy. If for some reason something goes south with shipping, let me know, we will work it out. The player works perfectly, and looks like it is new, there shouldn't be any issues unless the shipper screws up. If you receive it, and it doesn't look like new, let me know.

Price
$285 shipped

Curious, how do these units compare to oppo in terms of SACD playback?

Haha, I like the player but I need some time to save up for it. Would be a great way to get into SACD.

Denon is actually a very amazing machine for the buck. Oppo... sure it has decent video processing but audio playback? Please. It won't hold a torch to the 2910. The only Oppo player I heard had serious audio delay but I didn't do any SACD but DVD and CD didn't impress me.
Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.

Yeah you know I was going to buy a blu ray player, but they all seem to be made like crap or cost $1000 bucks. Not worth it yet.

I tried using a Samsung player at the local electronics store and the thing was confused by its own remote. Not to mention samsung thought it might be trendy to design the button layout as has become custom per DVD, but switch the buttons around to make it trendy and new. You'be fast forwarding in the dark when you thought you were pausing.
