Advice Please!

So I'm interested in upgrading the speakers that came with my onkyo, I used to have the Polk RM6000 5.1 and loved it, but sold it thinking that the speakers that came with the onkyo set would be as good, I was wrong, they are literally 10 times the size but don't fill out the room 10 times as good. I'm feeling like I dont want the tiny polk satellites again though so I composed this in the crutchfield store
Fronts : Monitor 50's
Surrounds : Monitor 30's
Center : cs1
plus they give you a free PSW10 which looks identical to the one I used to have. All this for $629.96 shipped. Which is right where I wanted to be budget wise, my main question is Fry's still has those R50's I believe for $59.99 each, are these the same quality as the Monitor 50's, or should I stick with what I have picked out?
