either 7C or series II are black, i don't remember which though.

I have C's that are woodgrain, so it may be series II.

Those look like 7C's; they replaced the SL2000's with the new silk domes. So there's $100 only in the tweeters.

Correction...those are SL3000's. I didn't know they made M7's with this tweeter.

Those are monitor 7 series 2 with SL2500 tweeters the foam around the tweeter is a dead give away.

Yep, all series II monitors had the sl2500 (Tri-laminate) tweeter and were avail in black Ash veneer.
