Placement of speakers

This is my first post. I have purchased the RM20's and I'm going to purchase two more 201's to go along with this system to make it 7.1. I have an Onkyo 705 if it matters.

I am going to have the 201's as the front of course. Would it be better to put the 201's from the RM20 set as the side surrounds or the back surrounds? The back would work best, but I can make either the side or the back work for the best sound.

My room is 12x16 with a 8x6 nook off of it.

Put the 201 as your main rears to match the fronts then you can use the others for side surround.
