Ok ... It was very tempting to pull the trigger on the Lsi15's today at Fry's! Only $237 each vs. the Rti12's for $299 each. However, I went with the Rti12's after comparing the two from the same receiver. I know that with a seperate amp powering the Lsi's will make a world of difference, I was just concerned that the passive subs plus my primary sub would cause me issues. Am I wrong on this? (I can swap them out easily if I do it before they are all gone!)
I took advantage of the additional $200 rebate on a sub and bought the DSW Pro 500 (10") and am very pleased with the sound since they are all set up and running.
Am hoping to purchase a Csi5 for the center channel and some Fxi5's for the side surrounds and use my existing RM5000 Satelites for the rear surround.
All of this is being pushed by a Denon 4800 and I am looking for an older Denon POA 5200 amp or a 2400a amp to drive the mains and have the 4800 push everything else.
Please through your 2 cents in on this setup and advise if this would yeild a strong setup. My room is a very large basement theatre with a 120" screen, 720p HD projector, upconverting DVD, etc. (holding off on the 1080p until DirecTv starts pushing it and the Blue Ray / HD DVD war is won.

Which fry's you did pick up the lsi15? Do they still have the Rti12 or 10 or 8
Do you know when the expire day for the $200 rebate on a sub? -
what the hell? LSi' 15s for $237 each????????????? seriously? that's nearly giving em away. i'm surprised they had any left. I'd pick me up a pair if they had a Fry's here.
Onecall.com has them for $1,499.00 a pair    that does include free shipping. :rolleyes:PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Rti12s will do ok on the Denon, if you really want them to shine, then put them on an amp later on when finances allow. That setup would do well in your theater room, though you should also consider replacing the satellites in the rear with Rti4s since theyre rather cheap now. Fxi5s are huge, think about going with the Fxi3s and saving a little coin. Not much difference in sound between the two.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
