If Paramount still stick with HD-DVD this year, there are two new release that are on my list still worthy of HD-DVD player:
1. The new Indy Jones
2. Kungfu PandaI am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie. -

Forget Indy, the 18 month exclusive deal with HD-DVD excluded all Speilberg movies. So I believe Indy 4 will be available on both formats. Thus creating more sales on the Blu side.
Guess that leaves Hd with Kung Fu Panda to hold the front lines.... -
Won't be long now till the HD-DVD camp throws in the towel.
Bring on the Blu-Ray ****!
JohnNo excuses! -

Agree. And it will come with a money back deal for all of us that bought Toshiba HD-DVD players.

Where's the **** industry in all this? I heard from a friend that HD failed in **** because nobody liked seeing the pimples on the hoes butts. Any truth to that?

this time around, I don't think the **** industry will have any affect on which format wins. it is still less expensive to offer it on standard def DVD right now.... i don't want to hear **** in 7.1 surround sound either. :eek:PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

again, **** will not be a factor at all. too damned expensive and never any good sales. hard to find, even on the net. not worth it. i love hd dvd and ****, so if i say it is so, then it is so.
one more thing, **** in high def is ****! no pun intended. it is what **** SHOULD be. just watched some girlie action on high def satellite. yeah, if there are pimples, they would show up. but that just forces the **** industry to seek out closer to perfect women. good for **** lovers. thank you for hearing me out.

I agree that **** is irrelevant in this war, but I read a report yesterday that a **** studio did just switch to BluRay after WB did. So either way it looks like **** may be on Blu's side.

The HD DVD camp better start selling players for $49 and whatever's left of their movie inventory for $9.99 if they want to survive this.
Who am I kidding? They're dead and BR movies will go up to $39.99. -

I can't see BR going up. A win for them will open up the market and create higher volume sales, thus lowering the price. The same thing happened to VHS, DVD and every other video media. BR has a much bigger enemy than HD-DVD to win over, and that is sd-dvd. To do so, they must drop the porice of the players and the disks.

**** is irrelevent with the advent of the internet. If you can go download a 90 minute HD feature for free after an hour of online connection, WTH would you ever go to the store to buy it?
Well, I called this one wrong. I figured HD-DVD would win just because of its name but I guess Sony just had deeper pockets. There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin -
