What classes is everyone taking this spring? Any you look foward to? Any you dread?

All of my classes this spring are on Tuesday and Friday between 8AM and 3PM. I have Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, OFF.

Here is the schedule:

Management 501 - Strategy in Action
-Strategy in Action is a capstone-level, “big picture” course requiring integration of all fields of business. Whereas the other courses within business schools, explicitly or implicitly, present the perspective of a specific function (e.g. marketing, finance), this course presents a general management perspective. To study the strategic management of the firm as well as the responsibilities of the general manager you will draw on your knowledge from finance, accounting, operations, MIS, marketing, and organizational behavior classes.

Communications 101 - Intro to Communications
-Freshman only class, got in by exception because of being a graduating senior who needs the elective in this time slot
-Waste of my time

Entrepreneurship 501 - New Venture Creation: Growth Companies
-The course is the “capstone” entrepreneurial studies course, focused on understanding how to organize, finance, build, manage and grow a new venture company, and featuring the development, preparation and presentation of a full business plan for a new venture

Marketing 508 - Electronic Marketing
-Marketing concepts using the internet!

Definately an exciting semester with 2 relatively hard classes.

I feel sorry for all you non-engineers. Spending money on college with no earning potential... it's a shame :D

Just add Heat Transfer and systems and controls and take away the religion and mountain biking courses and you have my worst semester ever.
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

You mean infinately greater earning potential? That's what I thought. Who wants to work a salaried engineer job for the rest of their lives? NOT ME!

Well at least you're business, I can't say too much bad about that as far as earning potential, though the major is kind of a joke (sorry).

I'll just keep my mouth shut about other majors to avoid offending people....
