Freebie: CS1000P cabinet local pickup 22903

Hey, picked this single rt1000p at an outlet sale for the parts a few years back. Held on to the cab just in case I thought of a project for it but it's been sitting back in the junk room for too long taking up space and figured I'd see if anyone here might have a use for it before I have to toss it.

The wood part of the cabinet is actually in ok shape ... one ding on a back corner that's not too bad and some gunk from sale stickers on the top that could be cleaned off. The base is in good condition and I know these are prone to damage. The felty stuff on the front has a couple of problems.

To be clear ... this is just the cabinet ... no drivers, no amp no crossover and don't think it had the grill when I got it.

Oh, for anyone interested I'll likely be putting another freebie up a little later (after I dig them out of the closet they're buried in). A pair of Cerwin Vega AT-10s that are cosmetically ok (some small dings and one gouge but nothing that impacts the cabinets structure) with woofers needing to have the rotted suspension/surrounds (whatever it's called ... they sell the kits on ebay) replaced.

Yep, sorry about that ...... these things always seem to happen when I attempt to use my brain when I'm only halfway through the morning coffee. Edited the post body but guess I can't do the title myself? If some nice moderator is around maybe they could help out with that to avoid more confusion.

arrrg ... ok, guess changing the post title doesn't change the thread title .... back to asking for help unless it's just a matter of it needing to go through some update cycle.

Not too far from me. I have 3 RT1000's. I could possible use this extra cabinet.

I may try to come up this weekend and pick it up...is that OK? Where in C'ville you at? Near UVA? How far off 29?

I'd probably take the Vegas too if you have them available. PM me and let me know if the RT1000 is still available (as well as the Vegas) and when I could pick them up.
