I just bought some FXI3s (black) [although I am considering the white] but I dont know how high to put to speakers? any recommendations? ear level height? or higher?

Another question:

I have RTI8 as front.
I will have CSI5 as center channel.
I have FXI3 as sourround.

What should I use as rear? (perferably speakers on clerance @ frys:))

Amp: Emotiva XPA-5
Front: LSI15
Center: LSIC
Sourround: FxiA4
Rear: Fxi3

    Thanks!
I've searched the forums and some say I should place this in the "null area", while other say place the speakers a little bit back behind the listening areas.

Which one gives the best effect of sourround?

2' - 3' above ear level when seated seems the standard recommendation. I have mine higher than that but pointed at a spot 2' behind and 2' above my head when seated.

I was able to get brand new FXI3 (black) for 149.99 and I am looking to get another set for the rear. However the FXI3 (white) is selling for 200 dollars at Frys. Do you guys think its a good deal?

Wow where did you get FXi3's for $149.99. I'm assuming that's the price for a pair, right?

Local frys, it was the last pair but they had another pair (white) for 200.

that is a good deal for a pair of FXi3's. I think I might've snatched the last pair at frys.com though :D
