newbie amp question... sorry

k, so I've been trying to refrain from posting this, as I'm sure you all are tired of amp questions. However, I can't seem to find a thread that has the info I'm looking for... I'm currently running a Denon AVR 4806, Polk Rti12's, CSi5, FXi5's for the mid, and FXi3's for the rear surround. What I was wanting to do was run 3 mono amp's. Something like the Outlaw 2200 M-Block for the center channel seems very appealing to me. I would like to try and match it with something for the RTi12's. I don't want to buy a multi channel amp because I think the Denon puts out plenty for the FXi series and I don't plan on upgrading anything else anytime soon. Can you guys give me some recommendations on a mono amp that puts out enough power to properly run the RTi12's? They're rated to 500W, however, I know enough from my reading here that I will sacrifice quality for quantity of amperage. I use my system primarily for movies, I have a Samsung BD1400 Blu Ray player, and the Toshiba HD-30 hd-dvd player into my Mitsubishi WD-73727. I do some gaming with an XBox 360 and minimal music.... suggestions, ideas? Am I stupid for wanting the mono amps? Thank you in advance!

the Outlaw mono block amps will do great on your center and RT12's without any problems.. that's plenty of power for them..PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

You started off just as I did, the Outlaws will do a wonderful job with the 12s and your center. I too started with 3 M2200s on the fronts and let the receiver ran the rest. I just bought a D-Sonic Magnum 1000s which now gives my 12s 525 watts. Icepower sounds awesome, though some arent into class D amps. So the outlaws will do the 12s justice. I also suggest you try finding them used or B-Stock, Ive seen them sale as low as 175 bucks. Check Audiogon.com as well.
