I have a set of R50's that have treated me well with my old AVR and junk center (20 bux 2 years ago). I picked up a Yamaha htr6090 for 600 dollars on boxing day and am now building up my system.

I have decided to get the PSW505 sub and probably the CSi3 center.
I am also looking at Rti4 or Monitor 40's for rears.
I am going to hold off on the surrounds for now but hopefully a set of FX's down the road (from what I am reading they seem to be a good choice for surrounds)

In the future I will probably upgrade the R50s before getting surrounds. Right now my mentality towards the speakers I am buying in the next couple of weeks: I want to get something that isn't too much more than I need, but will last me and keep me satisfied with the system.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

I am not too concerned with matching the r50's because they will be replaced some day. i would rather get some rears that are a better match for some slightly better polk fronts than have to worry about replacing all the speakers when I upgrade the fronts.

    My thoughts Updated:
I think that when all is said and done I will end up with an RTI setup run directly off the AVR.

-Probably still the psw 505 for $300. (100 if i order some other speakers before Tuesday) Worth doing this?
-I think the CSi3 will be good enough for me but I keep reading that the CSi5 is worth spending another $140 on. Is this true?
    -RTi 4's for rears ($200)
    -FXi A4's for surrounds ($400)

Down the road upgrade the fronts to RTi10's or something similar. Fronts are staying as R50's for now :)
