SDA-2 crossover upgrades, totally confused

    I put mine under a some moving blankets in my basement playing for three days continuously. I then put them into my combo HT and 2 channel system and used them to watch TV and listen to music and after @ 3-4 weeks of that I was happy with the sound. They don't sound bad after 50 hours but the more time up to and @ 400 hours is when they started to sound real nice to me.

    Mine are in my basement, so I'll probably just leave them playing for an extended period. I'm just wondering how loud they'll need to be?

    I did not play them real loud. Probably @ 85 db. I don't know if that is why mine took so long to burn/break in. Any louder and the speakers and I would have been sleeping under a different roof.

    Just play them and they will eventually burn in. It doesn't have to be loud and it doesn't matter what you play thru them. The binding post upgrade will not result in any sound improvement, mostly it's for peace of mind. Having said that, I do it to all of mine.
