Need AVR recommendations for my parents' setup

My parents just got a Samsung LED DLP, and found out the hard way internal speakers really lack, well, sound. They have to put the internal speakers up over 3/4 of the volume just to hear it in their large room when anyone is talking.

So...that being said, I setup their directv dvr with HDMI, and their toshiba hd-dvd player with hdmi, so they need HDMI switching.

What to get? They don't want anything really high end, I personally really like Denon, but what is the best deal / bang for the buck right now?

I'm going to setup it up and use their harmony remote, so remote and usability really are not that important for them, because I'm doing the hard part.

As long as you find the specifications you want, you really can't go wrong with Denon, Harmon Kardon, Yamaha, Marantz.

Pretty much all their new model have HDMI switching (x47 series) and I think there lower end model start at around 260 bucks, and don't be fooled by there conservative power ratings HK are well know for having strong amplifier sections. There are several guys here on the forum that are using the 635 with great results, I have one but its pretty much just a volume control for my amp.
