Doea anyone know about the Circuit City speaker trade-in policy ? I would like to trade in my RM6200 system for the new RM6700 or even the RM7200. So far I've heard that Circuit City only allows trade-in of speakers and not home theater speaker systems. Is this true ?

Thanks !

I would at least check it out if I were you. I traded up with my sub-woofer, they had no problem with that. Alot of it just depends on how the store manager that happens to be there the day you are wants to deal with it. The worst they can do is say no. I also think the trade has to be within one year of your purchase. It's worth a try though. Good luck.

i traded in my 7500's in march and had no problem at all.

this may all depend on who you are dealing with, but i would go to the store and find out before hauling your speakers down there.. good luck!

(for the record, i traded in my 7500's, a pair of 35i's, and a 350 sub for a csi40 and a pair of rti70's. they basically gave me gift cards for the value of the speakers i exchanged, and told me that i could use them on whatever i wanted to in the store. i got the speakers i needed, and had enough left over to pick up a few new dvd's)
