Auction title says " Genuine Polk Audio Peerless Silk Dome Tweeters Monitor ". They would either be Peerless, or Silk Dome, but not both... And, they pretty much look like maybe peerless that have been spray painted? Just buy your stuff here in the FM from people with good reputations, adequate post counts, and not here just to sell their stuff.

These look like Peerless tweets that were available to the DIY market in the 80's. I built a nice pair of 10" 3-ways with Peerless tweeters looking just like these (I forget the model #, but quite popular, I remember they were $17 from Madisound, etc.) which were later stolen from my house :( These Peerless did not have a "dimple"

It's not an sl1000 those all had a silver bezel. It looks to be a peerless, not 100% sure, but I believe some of the versions Polk used did NOT have the pin hole. I believe they had the same electrical characteristics sans the pin hole.

Only Ricardo or Doro could say for sure if it tastes like a peerless :p and maybe a few old time Polk employees.

DIY Peerless. Look just like the Polk ones without the hole in the center.

SL1000's are all silver faced. They look quite similar to each other beside color.
