monster cable avs-2000 voltage stabilizer

do you really need a voltage stabilizer for you system?does anyone own this model number?can anyone give me some info the pros and cons.

    If voltage sucks in your area, yes. For 90% + of people, no.

    Stick a volt meter in the wall and see if your voltage changes alot over a 5 or 10 min. period. If not, check it a few times at various times during the day. If it always read within a volt or two of your normal voltage - don't sweat it. If it jumps up or down 10-20 volts every time your fridge turns on or off (or A\C) maybe it would be a good investment.
