    Hooray for arbitrary calendar milestones!

I can't wait until the period ending February 19 is over, this last February 19th-19th has been brutal.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Sorry to hear you guys didn't enjoy the year. Mine was the best one I've had, just because we had our first child in July. Can't really get any better than that.

2007 as far a life goes was an up and down year. I've definitely had worse years. As far as 2 channel audio and HT it has been a glorious year that I hope will repeat itself in 2008.

For me 2007 started out rough with me having to bury my older brother at the age of 49 on Jan. 6. But the rest of the year was quiet, & peaceful & relatively stress free. That is something that I haven't had since 2002.

So if 2008 is as peaceful as 2007 turned out to be, I'll be very happy!

    Happy New Year Polkies!

In terms of audio, 2007 was a very good year. I started the year by pursuing purity of tone in a 2-channel rig and ended the year with an HT system that happens to play music fairly well for the price, and being quite content about it.

    This is a strange hobby.
HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50” LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Rollercoaster year ending with a bang.

Here's to my wife. After 2 years of marriage, we're finally pulling the cart in the same direction.

Here's to my friends and family. Seems like everybody got pregnant this year but us.

Here's to my job. Love it or hate it and it was usually the later, I'm still surprisingly employed.

Here's to this hobby. For us, it's been a great year for audio/video.

    Cheers and happy new year.
