excel charting question

Quick question for an excel chart, is there any way to get the 1st of a time series label formatted differently than the rest?

Like this, but with the 2006 as part of the time series label (instead of in a separate text box).

    This is the way that our spendable cash here in Maryland will look starting today now that Gov. O'Malley has his hooks into us. :(

    Heh, no, that's a homebuilder index. They have obviously not done too well this year either.

    I don't think my request is possible, but wanted to see if I was missing something basic.
