Anyone in need of the Toshiba HD-A2 2.7 firmware disc let me know. I'll gladly forward it on to you.

    Well, that's awful generous, but anyone can download it for free directly from Toshiba here.

    It's a great offer. Thanks. It took me several tries on various software packages to get the disc to work. I almost gave up until someone on this forum suggested using Active@ ISO Burner (a free download). Consider me technically challenged.

    I have 2.5, but haven't upgraded to 2.7 yet. I heard there wasn't much of an advantage to go from 2.5 to 2.7, but I'm not certain about that.

    Sorry, I thought I answered ya but OOOP's, I'm a spazzzz. Yeah it worked fine and thanks again for sending it. My bro took forever with it.
