Found these on Seattle CL, no affiliation. I noticed they DO NOT include the interconnect cable.

Seems high to me, for un-upgraded SRSs.

Judging by what they go for on ebay according to polksda.com that seems about right.

That is more than I would pay for them, but I think we are spoiled by upgraded versions, and CP prices and what not.

I bet he gets the $1500. He would on Ebay.

You have to wonder why someone would offer these without the interconnect. I mean why do so many people loose that cable. And one coud be made up for $10 why not do it before selling.

Apparently there are a LOT of buyers and sellers who know nothing about these speakers...that guy that recently sold a set of very nice 1.2tl's for 100 dollars ( Talked DOWN from 175  ...didnt have the heart to tell him what they were worth) said the guy that bought them left without the IC . When he called the guy to ask him if he wanted the cable ( First couple of attempts he never answered back ) finally the guy said they sounded great and he didnt need the cable...that both speakers were working fine.

I asked the guy what he was going to do with the cable ...he asked me if I wanted it...I asked how much...he said free to keep him from having to throw it away. Then he asked me if I wanted the speaker cables as well...he had no use for them...ended up being vampirewire 10 guage ...I said sure. So he mailed me the speaker wire set and the IC. Some people just havent a clue about these older polks.

It's a fair price. Upgrades to audio gear in general do not make it worth more, the same applies here.

WOW that guy is an idiot. I sent him an email and told him what they were worth the day after he sold them. I guess he didn't open his email yet, LOL

The guy that bought them is playing them without the IC...says they sound fine :) Dont even think he bothered to repair the one torn 6511 driver ( One torn 6511 and the grill tear directly in front of that driver was the ONLY thing wrong with those...and the guy did that himself when moving them to his house ) ....so apparently the guy that bought them doesnt mind the massive air leak either ;)

He never read any comments that came through the craigslist email link...thats why he put his home phone number on there instead...so luckily ...you evil **** you... he still doesnt know what they were worth
