Rainbow is known for making some very good sounding car speakers, actually some of the best. I would really have to spend a good amount more money to top this set.

I finished putting them in a little while ago. They sound very smooth and they are not even broken in yet. Very nice top end on these tweeter, and the mids just sound sweet. Can't wait for these puppies to be fully broken in.

I actually already have a buyer :). I am giving my sister's boyfriend a really nice deal on them. I was going to keep them for my other car, but I plan to go with the kickbass version of this line next.

I was actually going to go active with this setup....Right now I have my 4ch amp bridged and sending 210 watts to this set.

I keep going back and forth on going active as I still have a little one that likes to play around with the radio at times. This is where the tweeter protection inside the x-over comes in handy. She sits in the back and likes to change songs and sources with the remote. I also go back and forth with the rear fill when I have passengers in the car. I'll probably keep it like this until the speakers are broken in and make a decision then.

Going active with the Germaniums was not really such a big thing as the x-overs had tons of tuning options. The Profi x-over's do not have near the tuning options, but they still sound really good. I have it on the reference option which is designed for A/B-pillar installation, it is more than a simple tweeter attenuation setting. I also reversed the phase on the tweeters.

    Thanks :)

They are just that, everything I wanted and then some. I did not expect these things to have as much midbass as they are putting out, especially not being broken in and right out of the box. Also, now I know what all the rave is about the CAL 26 tweeter. These are some very nice sounding tweeters. This is one set that is well worth the money.

Those drivers look fabulous. The phase plug and grill make them look a lot like the sr components

If you don't mind me asking, do you know where in NA can you order that brand? I'm still a noob, but I was also looking into hertz and found it really difficult to come by their stuff. Anything overseas except Morel and MBquart I only see once in a blue moon.

They are some very nice looking drivers. Sound even better :). They have been out for a few years now.

I can have you get in contact of the dealer that I purchased them from. He's on a few of the audio boards. He would be better able to help you out.

I will pm you his contact information.....

I know all about those puppies, but have been wanting this set for a while. I am very happy with this set so far. Very smooth is what I was after, and this is exactly what I got, with more midbass than I thought too . This is without them even being broken in. Things will only get better after a couple of weeks or so. No regrets here with this setup.

I actually plan on picking up the Profi Kickbass version a little later for my other car. The CAL 26 tweeter that these two sets share is sweeet.

Little review of these two sets here....
