Polk Sub newbie!

Hey guys I just purchased the 12 inch db series sub that comes in the box...I have a small amp powering them rightnow but I want to get the best potential out of them and being safe at the same time..I have never owned Polk subs but decided to after getting DBs in the doors. So some ideas for a good amp would be greatly appreciated thanks!!
