Let me know if you are interested as I have a line on a few of these and can send them out via FEDEX ground. These are sweet little tube integrateds with about 13 wpc; chrome finish, with a separate chrome ipod dock and pair of small bookshelf (2 ways) speakers in high gloss black. The amp has two inputs. You could buy the same system with a 'fatguy' stencil on it from other places on clearance for $400 (marked down from $745). I don't think those come with the speakers either...

Anyway, let me know if you are interested. I can forward pics as well.

Regards,

Dave

Just out of curiosity, and if you don't mind saying, how many is a few and are they a sure thing? IOW, if you don't already have them, are you sure that you can get them? I've just about closed a deal on one already, but I might also be interested in a second to give to someone else (or if mine falls through). I wouldn't want to get in the way of other forum members who want one.

I'm located in San Antonio, TX. As far as how many is a 'few'...figure minimum 3, maximum, probably around 8-10. I don't already have them as I have to buy them first but they are where I can get them. Obviously, I don't want to buy a bunch without knowing whether there is an interest. I do plan on buying at least 4 tomorrow even if there isn't any interest as these are just too nice to pass up (plus 4 is about all that would fit in my car).

I've got mine hooked up to my RTA12C's. It sounds pretty good at lower - mid volume, but when I tried to crank it a bit, it started distorting pretty badly. My speakers also started cutting in and out - I've never heard that before - & I'm guessing that's not a good thing, so I turned the power down.

Anyway, nice at lower volumes though.

I was just wondering if your speakers were putting too much strain on the amp. It should be working fine at moderate levels. 100db is too loud for comfortable conversation trying to speak over the music. You have to speak up, but not yell.

Yeah, at conversational levels, everything sounds good. But when I want to crank it a bit because I'm just interested in listening & not talking, that's when they begin to distort & cut out. (What causes them to cut out???).

My speaks are rated at about 30 - 500 wpc, so I'm guessing that the little amp just doesn't have enough oomph to crank it.

    Thanks
