At least his furious posting was somewhat substantive. He actually said things that were relevant in his 25 posts, unlike most who toss out the "nice, kewl" type comments to get to #25. His posting took some TIME man! ;)

    48 Minutes, to be exact!

993, in case you don't get what is going on, it is frowned upon here to post 25 times to just enough posts to put something in the FM. People here like buying from members that have contributed or spent some time here.

    Welcome to Club Polk!

Now, that said, and having sold multiple sets of RTi70s in the past, and especially considering the fact that Frys is selling RTi8s for $300 a pair, you are roughly double the going rate for these speaks. You started another thread asking what they are worth, and I am telling ya.

$200 is closer to what you will get for them now.

On a serious note, as someone who bought these "new" from Circuit City several years ago, it's depressing to see what they're "worth" now....
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I have owned several pairs of RTi70's, and I think they are a fantastic speaker. I left the polk fold, tried some other speakers, and then came back to the RTi70. After a while I upgraded to the LSi15s.

Nothing wrong with RTi70s, I will always have a special place in my heart for them! ;)

Me 2. I loved that Rti line. First nice speakers I owned. Absolutely kick **** for a cheap HT and after all that's what they were meant for. Not reference vinyl listening but HT.

Guys, I know I posted a bunch of messgages in one night and this may looks suspicious. Anyone local to me is more than welcome to come and check out the gear to verify legitimacy. As for those interested in the speakers or some klipsch (I have three pairs of RF82's that are barely used), contact me. I have reference on ebay, avsforum, 6speedonline.com and many other legitimate forums. I just need to clean house to make room for some new gears that are coming in....

Ruf - Your ad looks pretty good and welcome to the forum. Feel free to hang out awhile and join the fray :D Good Luck.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Hope you understand that the members here watch out for each other. I haven't seen another forum that will respond in spades when something goes bad against another member and will try to nip it in the bud before it gets rolling. Good luck with your sale. What do you look to get for the RF82's? Someone here might be interested.

Welcome to the forum first of all.

RTi70's were my second pair of Polk speakers. Your price is (trying to be PC) way out there.:) I think if you lowered the price you may have a shot at selling them. Members are too informed on this site for you to luck into a sale.
    IMHO.

I was search on the web and it seems that was the going price, but if that's not fair asking, I am more than happy to lower the price. Make me a fair offer and they're yours. Scroll the the bottom of the thread I linked below and you will see why I need to make space...

whether a speaker has been used for one day or it's entire life.. it's still considered a used speaker. your lowered price now seems reasonable. if they don't sell here.. take em to Ebay.

Ehh. He has stuck around, didn't get an attitude from our initial response to this thread, continued posting & sold them to another Polkie. What more could we possibly want?

    Congrats on the sale Ruf!

Rti70 are good speakers. I still have them in my family room, driven by an Audiosource Amp 3. They are not the pricey gears, but they provide very good sound for the $. Congrats on a nice pick up.
