Very similar to the Integra 9.8. But this is an Onkyo Pro model, not integra. I think it is a division of Onkyo dedicated to commercial audio implementation.

Congrats! Any time line as to when you'll receive it?

Very interested in this Pre as well, give us a little review once you get her all dialed in.

I have the integra version of this pre-pro and i was lucky to get it in a week. That's nothing compared to people that have been waiting for 2 months+.

I was disappointed initially with it due to my lack of setting it up incorrectly using Audyssey. I mainly posted my questions on AVSForum and got very good tips on the Audyssey setup. There is a dedicated thread for both 885 and 9.8 on AVS but 9.8 has more posts and info.
Now its been setup correctly its an awesome pre/pro overall. The Reon upscaling is so much better compared to Faroudja that I had on my oppo 981HD. I bought oppo 980 as i can output 480i and DSD over HDMI and its absolutely stunning.
Even the old DD and DTS sounds much better now.

Now the wait.. will kill you.

Enjoy and post us your impression when you get it.
