HK, or Denon. You don't need to get hung up on watts. 50 watts HK is better than the 110 watts Yamaha I had.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

I would go with Denon or Pioneer Elite...The HK preforms great, but I'm not a fan of how they look....Call me shallow..:p

http://us.marantz.com/Products/2080.asp this looks like a pretty decent powerful Marantz receiver. If I were in the market for a new receiver for home theater, i'd look at this. don't let the price scare you off.. that's MSRP, I bet you could find it for under a grand somewhere online.

what they are calling 700 watts is actually 100 watts times 7 channels. so each channel is only 100watts max.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?
