For some of us this Christmas may be a tough one. I will be spending most of the day giving thanks;) There will be no drawing on this one. Everyone is in. If it is something personal you can just post something like family situation. Also you may email me if you want. If something is sent to me, it is sent to me, and that trust will not be broken. I encourage others who believe to pray over this list.

Rules
Please respect this post, especially for the ones posting with a prayer request.
Thanks Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks
Ben

Dear God, the Great I Am, our Heavenly Father, the great Sovereign LORD - You are the mastermind behind this universe. You are the Creator, the Designer, the great Architect, the Orchestrator, and the Director of this grand play called life.

But what have we made this world? It's but a temporary home consumed with want, desire, greed, lust, worry, anxiety, evil, suffering, and strife. But in the midst of it all, there can be found hope, joy, peace, love, mercy, forgiveness, comfort, strength, and courage in the depths of your warm embrace.

During a season focused on giving, I pray for those who have not accepted the greatest gift of all: salvation through Your Son's death, burial, and resurrection. I pray that they may come to know You and the infinite blessings You bestow upon Your children daily. That they could come to know You and call You Father, and confide in You their deepest thoughts, pour out their hearts to You, knowing that You are listening.

And today I also pray for those poor souls like me, who do know You, but struggle everyday with remembering that sacrifice 2,000 years ago and what it really means. Those who struggle with realizing the true joy and peace that brings - and then struggle with sharing it with those around them. Those who know Your grace, mercy, and forgiveness are never ceasing - but selfishly take advantage of it without ever passing it on to those around them.

Today, Father, I pray for all of mankind, the lost and the saved, for You love them all equally. I pray that each and every soul on earth would grow closer to You and the great riches You have in store for us, instead of becoming more and more tied up in the ways of this fickle world the longer we stay here.

Thank You, Father, for Your love, Your patience, Your understanding, and for giving us the greatest gift man could ever imagine.

It is in Your Son's most holy and precious name we pray,
    Amen.

The next best thing to prayers that I can offer (you already have them) is to read the Book of Job today. When I was at my lowest I would read Job and I found it a great comfort.

    Dear God,

Please give your comfort to the weary and ones who are heavy of heart, in need of food, shelter or any basic comfort. Please fill the hearts of the lonely and give relief to the sick and ailing. Thank you for sending Jesus our Savior.

    Amen!
