Bookshelf speaker Questions

I am setting up a stereo system in my bedroom, but want to use small speakers there. I have had great luck with my Polk ceiling speakers, and my Polk powered 12" sub, but not sure if I should go Polk bookshelf. Below is a pic of the stereo, and would like your advice as to what speakers would be small, but have that dynamic sound. I will be playing CDs, but might even put my turntable back in service. I like crisp sound and like to hear symbols clearly. For some reason, it seems that the symbols are muddy from many speakers.

Partly depends on your budget did you check out the Lsi7s or Lsi9s?

Tweeter lets you take stuff home to demo if you have one near by. I took home Lsi15s and then returned them a week later- no worries no hassles.

Thanks, I think I will need to go there and check them out.
Budget will allow those Lsi models, so I guess I should give them a listem.
