Ho! Ho! Hoey: The Complete Collection

This is a collection of Gary Hoey Christmas music and it is flat out spectacular!
The recording quality is excellent and the musicianship...well,...IT'S GARY FREAKING HOEY!
Anyway, if you're a Chirstmas music geek like me or just want something different that isn't crap like most of the "new" Christmas music made after, say, 1987 then this is a good choice!
If you don't know who Gary Hoey is, think of it this way. It's like someone took The Ventures and had Joe Satriani play lead guitar for them. But it's not. It's Gary Hoey and he's quite unique in this world and trying to describe a guy who plays "The First Noel" and uses a howling electric guitar for the the melody by comparing him to a pack of hacks like The Ventures comparably is insane.
You wanna get hooked on Gary Hoey? Listen to "Jingle Bells" on this album. This guy sounds like he fell right out of the 1950's and the whole California Surfer trend. He's from Boston though.
