Has any one tried a Rotel RSX 1058?

Hi all,
Wanted to ask is any one has tried the RSX 1058 yet & if so whats your thoughts. I still got my RSX 1065 which drove my LSi15's LSiC & FX speakers well. Was thinking about upgrading soon & I have been real happy with the 1065 & for the last 2+years I have been running the L/R mains through a BAT VK60 amp. Is the 1058 comparable to the 1065? Im thinking the upgrade should wait until the new receivers can decode all the new codecs via HDMI. But I may as well start looking. Thanks in advance!! Ace

I've been eyeballing the 1058 as a replacement for my 1056 as well, but I think the 1058 is barely hitting stores now. You may want to keep an eye on the Club Rotel forums. They have the most Rotel info and experience.
Pitty there aren't really any other options but this upgrade for those of us who want to add HDMI switching and 1080p. I'm very happy with my 1056, and the 1058 is a big jump in cost compared to all of the previous Rotel AVRs in that class. -
While I love Rotel gear, keep in mind that they are not going to do anything about HDMI until everything settles down, if ever. (they still haven't built a universal SACD/DVD-A player. They can't afford to.
