Well today was my last day until the new year. I could not wait for this day; Setting up the out of office voice & email and hitting that logoff button was a great feeling.

Now I can get the house ready for Christmas Eve as it is our turn this year.

I'm tipping a cold Winter Lager for the Polkies

A single in a 3-phase bank. The cable that controls the tap indicator dial screwed up so you had to get into the controls to check the tap.

It was a platform bank so I think it was a lot easier than in a sub or a bank on a single pole. Definitely better than double-circuit junction pole with 397 and 4/0!!!

Traditional job my ****$. I did the Thanksgiving oncall for 3 years plus the day after and I was usually working on Christmas eve. I also did the weekend thing plus graveyard. Now I'm senior and it's somebody elses turn to feel the pain.

But I do feel your pain so my sympathies.
