Well, haven't felt too XMASy lately. Working most evenings and weekends.
So I went out and got the Mrs. something different. A tanzanite
pendant in a white gold setting surrounded by small diamonds.
I got a pretty good deal. Local discount jewler that carries the good stuff.
I've bought there before, and always get a thumbs up!

It's a light blue. Sometimes, it almost looks purple. Depends on the source of light.

That's a sweater she's wearing for a XMAS party. Seemed like a good
spot for a photo. It's hard to get a picture of the thing.

Very nice man. Tanzanite is a great looking stone. And good choice on a pendant versus a ring; its not the toughest stone in the world so it could feasibly crack in a ring.

    She's gonna be happy!

Glad your able to get her something like that and have her enjoy it :) I learned in the early years with my wife not to buy clothes/jewelry/house decorations ( Except for my man rooms..off limits to her :) ) ...because they would always be something she didnt like ( With the ONE exception in jewelry..huge solitaire diamond rings...just pick the simplist setting and the biggest rock...those she said were ok )

She responds REALLY well to casino trips with me funding them ...

Jewelry is scary. That's why I go to a place I trust. The price is always good.
And they don't carry any of the crap stuff. She seems to like most of my picks.
I must of dropped a couple of grand in this place over the last five years.

True...My one criteria from my honey is Diamonds...they must be diamonds...and they must be square. :D

Besides...most reputable places will let you take it back for exchange.

The big no no gift for women is JEANS...I will never, no never, ever buy jeans for my girl again.
