    "Britney Spears’ mother Lynne Spears is writing a book on parenting for Christian publisher Thomas Nelson, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

    “We’ve signed her to a deal,” a spokesman for Thomas Nelson tells Us. The book, which will be coming out next Mother’s Day is titled Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World.

    “It’s a parenting book that’s going to have faith elements to it. I don’t think it’s totally been written yet,” says the publisher’s rep, who expects the manuscript by December.

    Lynne, 52, recently reconciled with her daughter after months of estrangement (though Us reports in its new issue that the singer has recently cooled things off again). Britney, 25, cut her mother out of her life and refused to allow her to see her grandchildren after Lynne entered the singer into rehab last February against her will. "

    Listening to talk radio this morning it looks like the book has been put on hold indefinitely and Nickelodean may get rid of Jamie-Lynn because she sets a bad example. Her demographic is certainly a lot younger than Britney's and it seems this is having an effect on younger children (7-13).

    Same problem here as in third world countries...swallowing and anal take effort ...laying on your back and counting mosquitos and flys takes none whatsoever....lazy with sex...lazy with birth control....moral of the story is just plain lazy.

    What's even worse is that her mother is just like 75% of the rest of the country....simply a bad parent. And those people vote.

    Jamie-Lynn was supposed to be the good one. We all make mistakes but holy crap this is HUGE after all the whoring around Britney has done and continues to do. There's a rumor Britney might be preggo again as well. Certainly what we've seen publicly it appears they get the 2007 Dysfunctional Family Award.

    I know several friends who have had children either as an accident or as being unmarried but not at 16 and especially not after having another sibling screw up so badly right in front of them. This will ensure that the Spears family will continue to be in the spotlight.

    Not standing up for her by any means, I simply don't care - but as if no one here has ever done anything wrong, or questionable, or had 'situation'.... We need witch hunts on 16 year old celebs now? Club Polk is THAT bored now? It just made me angry when I saw the title of the thread, is this CP or some Celeb gossip rag?     It's our insane fascination w/ celebrities and really if it were someone other than Britney's sister I would have never even have read about it. It's just so damn ironic with the fact her sis is Brit and her Mom was getting ready to write a Christian book about parenting. Not that teen pregnancy is the parents fault but this is the Spears family and nothing positive seems to happen.

    Teen pregnancy is old news but this certainly was entertaining for a day or 2.
