Trouble With Icons Associated With Buttons

When I bring up a reply to post or post new thread screen, I get no icons for the "Ordered List," "Unordered List," and "Insert Image,' buttons.
Is this a forum wide problem or my XP settings?
I've posted the screen shot below.

I've click on both urls and had no problems. Please explain a little more. -
I'm not an HTML/vB wiz, and I think there are some here. From what I see it's working in both Firefox, and Explore, but the link to the .gif is broken in IE so you can't see it. The .gif or picture file is where it's supposed to be URL wise, but IE won't display it. Could be anything. Maybe someone who wants to look at the source in IE, can comment further.-Ignorance is strength -

Just clear out your cache ("temporary internet files"), they'll probably return.
For IE7 : Tools -> Internet Options. Second section down in the 'general' tab, click delete, then Temporary Internet Files.
For Firefox : Tools -> Clear Private Data. Uncheck everything but "cache".If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -

Bob,
I have IE 7.0.5730.11. I tried deleting temp internet files and it didn't work.
Microsoft products really do bite. -
Hmph, I've had that problem a few times and that usually does it. SorryIf you will it, dude, it is no dream.

They don't work for me on 2 PCs, I'll check the Mac in a sec and post back.
-
They don't show up because Darla is consuming all the available space for .gif images....and it will get worst.._________________________________________________

No sweat, this copy of XP although the latest has a few gremlins that just won't be exercized!!! When I purchased my new PC I had all the crappolla removed before I would take it out of the store. The thing is fast as lightning but every-so-often, it boots up and no keyboard or it boots up and just keep so busy in the backround that I can't do anything. On those occasions I just reboot. It can be annoying though. -
I'd do a fresh install and leave out the crapolla. Some crapware, when uninstalled, doesn't remove the registry keys, and that can cause issues.
I've heard of some having similar trouble, and one of the symptoms is tray icons not being displayed. If you don't want to do a clean install, try creating a password to log on. It slows down the bootloader just enough so that XP loads correctly. You can also hide UPnP devices, and can help too.
Another alternative is to try a free registry repair, like Registry Repair Pro. It will only remove three problems at a time, but if you get into a rhythm, you can click, click, enter your way through a couple of hundred entries during a commercial break. Again, not a wiz, but I like my XP to be light, nimble, and bug free. . . so you have to learn a few tricks along the way. Good luck, and if I can help, no worries.-Ignorance is strength - -
Russ or Mark,
I had Sal log onto my PC to see if he could resolve this issue and the same thing occurs on his PC.
He said that these:

were the problem on Polks server.

People still use the 'Virus Bullseye' browser?
Go FireFox, it shows text "Insert Image" instead of a red x. -
