Unbalanced audio output from my amp

I just recently noticed when listening to all audio sources, especially at lower volumes that I seemed to be hearing a lot more coming from my right speaker. I've played around with the volume control and confirmed that the left channel seems to play catch up as I turn up the volume but regardless, the sound-stage is always unbalanced to the right. I tried switching the L/R channels that the speakers were plugged in to rule out any speaker problem. I was able to replicate the problem reversed. After that, I switched the speakers from the "A" to "B" channel on the amp to see if there was a problem with the "A" channel. The problem still exists on the "B" channel. I hear the problem through all sources connected to the amp. Any thoughts on what might be causing this? The amp is probably 7 years old.
