Is my LsiC broken?

I have had these speakers for about 4 years, and recently moved them down to a new room in the basement. My center speaker is much lower then before and I am starting to notice that sounds only comes out of the larger right baffle, and nothing comes out of the larger left baffle.

Is this normal, or should sound be coming out of both sides of the speaker? The same thing happens when I listen to 5.1 content as well as calibrate the decibel level of the speaker via by receiver's configuration.

Any thoughts? Thanks

Thanks. Good to know. I am not noticing any sounds from the left driver, but I could just not be picking up the bass.

    Thanks again.

Also, if you set it to large (just as a test) you should notice significant bass sound and driver movement. I thought mine was broken too.....but it's just the way its designed.

You could always flip it over so you get sound out of the left one.... :D. Kidding.

I've read stories on the forum here of people moving speakers to new homes and they stop working, for various reasons, one being that a wire may have fallen off the woofer or crossover. If what other suggested doesn't work, I suggest taking the 2 minutes to unscrew the woofer and double check all the wires are attached. Never know, that little trip down the stairs might have just jingled it loose.

Good luck, report back if you find anything.

i thought something was wrong with my lsic and lsifx when i first bought them because sound only came out of one side. i called polk technology and he told me that was the way it should be. one side is a woofer and one sound.
