Carver M-1.0t 2ch amp, EXC, $225 - pick up only

I bought this from the original owner a few months ago. I'm strapped for cash this holiday season and besides, with my new high maintenance roommate I just never get to enjoy it properly in my sound-sensitive apartment. This amp is great for building a powerful 5.1 or 2ch system on a budget.
Both channels work great and there is very little static at 0dB (if you get right up to the tweeter you can hear something, but I'm not even sure that's the Carver - it was there to some degree prior to adding this amp). Certainly an excellent unit.
I have no pics currently and nothing but my camera phone to take them (sold my camera, too!), but the unit has no scratches on the face or top whatsoever. I'll rate it 9/10 cosmetically just because it's not NIB.
I can snap some camera phone pics tonight if there's interest, just to show that the unit does in fact exist in my possession. I'm in SF at 14th and Valencia and will be home evenings later this week and early Sat and Sunday. Come listen and bring cash I've bought and sold a few items on here so maybe other Polkies can chime in to vouch for me. But since you get to come try it out anyway, that shouldn't be too much of a concern.
Please PM me. I will prioritize by order in which I receive PMs.
Thanks!!
Andy

Huh?~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~
