LSiC Mounting location?

Advice requested...
LSiC.. should I mount it above my LCD which would put it about 7 feet of the ground, or below the LCD, about 3 feet off the ground?
Has there been any sound issues with mounting it right to the drywall?
Thanks!

I would mount it at the lower lever if your mains are on the floor. That will presumably place it at a height closer to them which is what you want to achieve for a seamless sound stage. Not sure if there are sound issues relating to the dry wall but I believe the shielded ports in the back are designed to make that ok.B&W 804s mains

I would say below and tilt it up. Ideally the tweeter should be the same height as the tweeter in your front speakers. I would guess that 3' would put it closer to that ideal height than 7'.
In my case my center is about 7' in the air tilted down and it sounds ok, but I would think it would sound a little better if it was lower. (I cannot move it any lower though in my room)Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)

i just happened to move my LSiC below my tv today and I think it sounds better. When it was above my tv, I had it pointed down towards my ears but still something seemed out of place.Onkyo TX-SR805

In reality, what sounds best to you is the real answer. My room only allows me to place it on top facing down, but I have tried my LSiC below the set facing up and it did sound better to me as well. Toobad it just won't work with my room layout."she had the body of Venus, with arms."

Thanks for the advise guys... My mains and rears (all LSi9's) are wall mounted about 6ft from the floor. I'll have a friend try holding it in both position and see what sounds better and more natural... thanks for the advice!
