Well after a wanted ad here I got me a pair of SRS1.2 TL's. Edward (ESAVION) had a pair that had upgraded tweeters that he parted with. My great girlfriend helped me drive 1850 miles! in 3 days to pick them up. (No she is all mine boys:D) Just wanted to say how great it is to hear them again. I ordered all the parts for the crossovers today and my new Parasound amp will be here this week! I'm happier than a pig in mud. And to Edward, thanks, your a great brother in professionalism and I appreciate what you do. I don't know how you live in New York City, though!!! Thank you to all on this board that contribute so much.
Paul

that's a serious road trip. With gas prices these days, wouldn't it have been just as cheap to have them shipped? I couldn't imagine being in the car with the same chick for 1800 miles. She must be one incredible woman. Pics please...(and some of the speakers, too :)

Damn...I thought my 600 mile trip to Reno for speakers was over the top...your trip trumped my little sunday drive  All that matters is that you are happy with the fruits of the trip.

As long as she was game for some possible east coast offender risks along the way it would have been a good trip with her ;)

Paul you should post a picture of your girlfriend along with the 1.2tls
on the tasteful babe thread. She definetly belongs there along with all the beautiful models.

Alright I will do the pictures, give me a couple of days. Yeah she's a good girl and we had fun. The best part was at like 3 in the morning. We exit to take a pee-break and everything is closed and we had to go! So we end up behind a building on the main drag taking a leak and it's like 20 degrees. Wish I had a pic of that-too funny.

I see theres a set in Oregon that just showed up on ebarf, hmmm. Thats a really long way! Yes gas is high (I have a diesel so it was more!) but I would never trust a shipping company with these so it wasn't a big deal for me to drive.

You could have gone to a truck stop/gas station.
They're open 24/7 and are littered all over.
They have everything you can ever need for those long trips.
    They have showers,food,rest areas,videos,etc.
