It looks to me that my vote really counted in MO. This is 1 of the first times that I have been with the majority! I'm shocked and pleased.

Good thing that the voters in MO chose not to increase the Tax on my smokes... I may have had to sell some audio equipent??? YIKES!, come to think of it I would have kept the audio and sold the Yukon.

I'm glad to see a voting thread! Stay current and lead the way gentilemen.

I voted, but overall, I think that perhaps once again the majority have spoken, & said "none of the above".

I did and...even though they said: do your part and everything else will fall in to place naturally, but reality is: another superbowl that Steve Largent couldn’t win....

Absolutely I voted! My man here in the state of Maryland won!

Finally, that retarded Glendening / Kennedy-Townsand administration is going bye-bye!!! Bob Ehrlich will clean this place up. Hope he loosens up restrictions on gun ownership for us law abiding citizens. He is a big Pro-NRA man!!!
    No excuses!

I lived in Okla from birth (Tulsa) to 31 of my first 32 yrs. It's heartbreaking to know that a football player can't keep advancing up the ladder of politics like he ought to be able to in Okla, of all places. JC quits, & now Steve is out!
What we really need is some guys and gals from other sports. The Sooner women & men made it to the Final 4 this yr--surely one of them can, upon graduating (more likely to be a woman, I expect, if graduation involved) seek out entry-level state office (representative). Bolstered by good ol boy network & truly awful sports analogy-laden 30-second commercials, Okla could eventually have a hoopster as guv! Rah, rah, boomer sooner!!!!!!!!

    HBombToo,

Let me straighten this out. Maryland is not Republican, just the new Governor. Most of the other politicians are still stinking Democrats. There are far too many people who like a free ride, if you know what I mean, in this state to ever hope for a Republican majority. It's so bad here that, unlike your state, the Democrats just raise the cigarette, gasoline and whatever tax anytime they please and that really pisses me off. Maybe, just maybe with Ehrlich in office that BS will stop.

BTW, I'm pleased to see the number of folks who voted, however you voted. It's one of the most important aspects of being a US citizen.

It's not the question that should you vote? you should go to vote and start to teach your children to vote now when you can. Do this and you'll be proud as an American..
