NEW RTi10'S
Hi Everyone
i am new to the club
Just purchased rti10s front
fxi5s surround
csi3 rear
already had the csi5 center
all being powered by Harmon Kardon avr230
i do not know why you need an xternal amp to power the rti10s.because with my avr they have lots of bass and my room is 18x22.am i missing something

Not if you are happy. But, perhaps you should be asking yourself the question . . . "are you missing something?" Never know unless to power with separates. IMHO you don't need a golden ear to hear an immediate difference with the presence of separates. Unless of course the separates are less superior to the AVR. 9 times out of ten this is not the case.
