I bought a pair of FXiA6 Dipole speakers over the weekend, but dont know in what way to hook them up, they will be 2 feet above listening position and 6 inches back, but do I face the tweeter forward or the speaker foward.

They are marked left and right on the rear of each speaker, just under the binding posts. The woofer's should face forward if mounted on the side walls of your room.
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Click on the link and its one click to the Polk HT manual, lots of good info on placement and so on.

The dipole setting is more diffuse, the speaker fires out phase, the bi-pole setting is more direct with the speaker drivers playing in phase.

    Hope that helps a bit.

I have these speakers on order as well and was curious how to turn the system into a 7.1 instead of 5.1. Are these the side speakers or the left and right rear. Sorry if this seems like a simple question, but I'm a newbie. Thanks.
